ADAM Ant has released his first album for 18 years, and will play his explosive new work, Adam Ant Is The Blueback Hussar in Marrying the Gunners Daughter, when he takes to the stage at King’s Lynn on April 21.

Live at the Corn Exchange for one night only, Adam will be joined by The Good, The Mad & The Lovely Posse as he plays both his album and hit classic hits including Antmusic, Dog Eat Dog, Goody Two Shoes, Prince Charming, Kings Of The Wild Frontier and the Ivor Novello award-winning Stand And Deliver.

Sometimes it’s difficult to pinpoint exact turning points in the history of an artist or band, but October 16 1980 is one such precise date for Adam Ant, when he was thrust upon the general public with his first national television performance on the BBC’s flagship music programme Top of the Pops.

For almost two years ,Adam and the Ants dominated the charts with their singles and subsequent albums, especially Kings of the Wild Frontier, which charted for 66 consecutive weeks, 12 of them in the number 1 position.

Tickets cost £29.50, available from the box office on 01553 764864.
