Peterborough’s Rapport is to perform at Peckover House next month.

The group of local singers and entertainers will be making their second appearance at the National Trust venue as they sing numbers from The Secret Garden and Cats.

Having last performed in Peckover’s 17th century Reed Barn in 2012, they are hoping to return with a bang.

Amanda Thomson, who will be performing with Fernley Copping and pianist Angela Hankins, said: “We like to put on more of a show than just a concert.

“And this colourful, show-time atmosphere is enhanced by plenty of sparkle and fun, a set, lights and a host of different costumes and props”, she added.

The group will also perform songs from Les Misèrables, Sunset Boulevard and Thoroughly Modern Millie with comedy, romance and drama thrown in.

The concert will take place in Peckover House’s Reed Barn on Friday September 4.

Doors open at 6.45pm, tickets £12 from the venue or via 01945 583463.
