TWO songs written especially for the new Wisbech After Hours music event were performed by artist Diane Devine when she played at the February get together at Octavia’s Cafe.

Diane had appropriately called one of the new songs Cafe, Cafe and the other was Proper Norfolk Girl, a folk number sung with a ukelele.

An art exhibition by Lousie Stebbing and her students from Skylark Studios was also on view during the live event.

An up and coming pop/folk duo called Changing Horses have been booked to perform at the next After Hours event on March 2. Other acts booked are Josh Bunce (April 6), Poetry Corner (open mic, May 4), Matt McChlery (June 7) and Dave Bilbrough (July 6).

After Hours Live is a monthly event that takes place on the first Friday of every month at 7pm. For more information visit afterhourslive.org.uk
