Strangeworld are one of Cambridgeshire’s most renowned folk bands and described as playing “progressive folk music”. They will be performing their latest songs at March Town Hall at 8pm on Friday May 10.
Visitors of St George’s Fayre in March will have seen a glimpse of their spectacular music and their versatility of instrument playing.
Played exquisitely on traditional instrumentation including cello, oboe, piano accordion, bassoon, cittern, whistles, mandolin, guitar and bagpipes (amongst many others), the band use influences from across the musical spectrum to create a sound that is both unique and mesmerising.
Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from Panini’s Coffee Shop or on the door which open at 7.30pm.
