STUDENTS will perform their version of Shakespeare’s classic As You Like It at the Key Theatre in Peterborough - but expect a quirky circus twist.

Pupils of King’s School in Peterborough will take their show to the stage next Thursday before performing in front of a school audience in December.

David Aldred, head of drama at the King’s School, said: Our production is set in a circus with clowns, acrobats and jugglers providing a vibrant and colourful feast for the eyes.

“Taking part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival, learning about the circus and performing at the Key Theatre – it all adds up to make a fantastic experience for our talented young performers. They are working hard and looking forward to dazzling the audience with their command of Shakespeare and circus skills.”

The show starts at 7pm. For more details and tickets cotact the Key Theatre box office on 01733 207239.
