As part of the National Theatre’s 50th anniversary celebrations, cinema goers in Ely will get the chance to take another look at the 2010 NT Live’s production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

Following his celebrated performances at the National Theatre in Burnt by the Sun, The Revenger’s Tragedy, Philistines and The Man of Mode, Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear - son of the great comic actor Roy Kinnear - plays Hamlet in this dynamic production of Shakespeare’s complex and profound play about the human condition, directed by Nicholas Hytner.

He is joined by Clare Higgins (Gertrude), Patrick Malahide (Claudius), David Calder (Polonius), James Laurenson (Ghost/Player King) and Ruth Negga (Ophelia).

The production will be show on Tuesday October 22 at 7pm, and Thursday October 24 at 4pm.
