A singer will take to the stage in Wisbech next Friday fresh from being a finalist in a national songwriting competition.
Wisbech-based musician Matt McChlery will perform a mixture of covers and original material at After Hours Live, which is held at Octavia’s Cafe.
His song Fingerprints was awarded a ‘Finalist’ position in the prestigious 2014 UK Songwriting Contest.
The teacher, who also works part time at The King’s Church, was recognised in the Faith/Christian category.
Judges include top Grammy, Emmy and BRIT Award winning producers and artists.
Doors open at 7pm with music starting at 7.30pm. Entry is free. Refreshments are available.
