Sounds of the 80s from the renowned Here and Now music acts will launch the 28th season of Newmarket Nights in June.

Music icons T’Pau, Bananarama and The Real Thing will be joined by Curiosity Killed the Cat and Kid Creole and The Coconuts at Newmarket Racecourses on June 20 to wow the crowds with their hits of yesteryear.

Audiences will revel in nostalgia as the stars of the 80s come together for a pop party at one of the most picturesque racecourses in the world.

The performers join artists such as Tom Jones, James Blunt, The Beach Boys and Wet Wet Wet, who will also perform during the summer season of Adnams Newmarket Nights, which attract more than 100,000 visitors last year.

Amy Starkey, of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “As always, there will be a great evening of horse racing followed by music nostalgia.

“The Here And Now music nights are really well received across the country and I’m sure they will receive a big welcome at Newmarket.

“We’re expecting plenty of interest in tickets, so all racing and music fans are urged to book their places as soon as they can.”
