TAKE a trip into history this weekend, as Haddenham and Aldreth stage their popular Blossoms and Bygones event on Sunday May 12.

In Haddenham there is a Victorian theme, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the village school, while in adjoining Aldreth visitors will be transported back to the 1940s.
, with visits by the Home Guard, and a Spitfire plane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flying overhead.
Haddenham’s attractions include a garden fete, traditional games and craft stalls, and visitors are encouraged to dress up in period costume. In Aldreth, there will be a visit from the Home Guard, jitterbug dancers, and displays of vintage cars, military vehicles and classic cars.
Admission for all events, including tractor and trailer transport between the two centres, cost £4 for adults and £2 for children, and £10 for a family ticket.
