AFTER many years of treading the boards with Littleport Players, Zack Sizer and Jack Byng are jointly directing the Players’ production of the great youth musical, Bugsy Malone.

A cast of more than 20 talented children, aged from 10 to 17, will be on stage at Littleport Village Hall from June 6-8.

Zack said: “This was a very ambitious project, but we have had so much fun putting it together. It felt great to see what goes on behind scenes as well as helping the youngsters to use their full potential in acting, singing and dancing.”

The musical tells how tempers frayed in the roaring twenties in the USA, as prohibition refused to relinquish its grasp on the city of New York, and gang warfare and underground Speakeasies were a way of life.

Tickets cost £8 and £6, and are available from The Bargain Centre and Bizzie Lizzie, Littleport or online at www.littleportplayers.co.uk
