UB40 take their hits back on the road again next spring – and it includes a visit to Cambridge Corn Exchange on May 12.

Naming themselves after the unemployment benefit form, UB40 formed in 1978 and released their debut album Signing Off in August 1980 – considered by many to be one of the greatest reggae albums ever released by a British band.

One of Britain’s most successful groups of all time, the band had more than 40 UK Top 40 hit singles and sold more than 100 million records.

Their latest Top 30 album Getting Over The Storm, released in September last year, was awarded BBC Radio 2’s Album Of The Week accolade and received 5-star reviews.
