THE 56 strong “Ladies in Harmony” WI choir will perform in Ely Cathedral on Thursday June 20, as part of the flower festival celebrations.
The choir - made up of Women’s Institute members from across Lancashire - is, touring East Anglia between June 17 and 21.
Under the direction of Mrs Patricia Lewis, the choir will sing at the flower festival at 11am and 2pm.
In the past the choir has sung at venues across Lancashire, as well as giving lunchtime concerts in Ripon, Carlisle and Liverpool Anglican Cathedrals and Beverley Minster.
In 2007 they made a concert tour of Holland, and in 2011 toured Somerset and Devon, singing in Wells and Bristol Cathedrals and Buckfast Abbey.
