Musclebound men and women come to Fenland next Saturday when a wrestling promotion rolls into town.
DOA Wrestling UK puts on a show at the United Services Club, March, on October 5.
A host of talented wrestlers from across the world will step in the ring during seven bouts, three of which have championships at stake.
Scheduled to appear are “The Highlight” Zak Knight – Star of Channel 4’s The Wrestlers: Fighting with my Family; American wrestler The New Orleans Bad Boy Luke Hawx, who has competed for WWE, TNA and on MTV’s Wrestling Society X, and Nordic Valkyrie Miss Mina, Norway’s number one female wrestler and star of Bellatrix Female Warriors.
Also in action will be the All-American Canadian Addy Starr, a Canadian female wrestler making her UK debut, former British Tag Team Champions Special Edition (Kip Sabian and Brad Slayer) and Karn and Shaun Simmons, one of the UK’s best young tag teams.
DOA Wrestling owner and promoter Alec Burnitt hopes the show will become a regular feature in Fenland.
He said: “We have done the majority of our shows in Bury St Edmunds and across Suffolk. This is the first time we are coming to Fenland but, if everything goes well, we hope to come back regularly.
“The show will be family entertainment so there will be no blood or guts. We have talented wrestlers competing from across the world.”
Doors open at 6.15pm and the show starts at 7pm.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for children. Family tickets are available for £30 (two adults, two children).
Tickets are still available by contacting DOA Wrestling UK on 07926 432421 or ordering online at www.doawrestlinguk.com
