Chatteris Music Society’s will present a performance by the Hatstand Opera at Chatteris Parish Church this Saturday (May 20).

The show – titled ‘Opera on a Mission - A mission to entertain’ will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £12.50 (pre-booked) or £15 (on the door) for adults and are free for under 16s.

Also on Saturday, Pure Vinyl will be spinning retro disco tunes at the Wisbech & District Ex Services Club from 9pm to midnight.

Expect to hear everything from 60s, 70s and 80s music to Motown and ‘cheesy classics’ on vinyl records.

“Dig out those boogie shoes and bring those handbags to dance around,” say organisers.

Everyone is welcome, including non-members.

Entry to the event is free.
