“The show is for everyone, young or old,” say organisers.

“The event features a wide range of activities, from cookery and preserves, through vegetables, fruit and flowers, art and handicrafts, to quilting, eggs and honey and home brew.

“There are categories for every age and ability, so there is something for everyone to try their hand at, regardless of their level of expertise.

“There will also be a seed swap, where people can bring along their unused seeds - it doesn’t matter if they are old and out of date, someone might be able to encourage them to germinate.

“They don’t have to be shop bought; if you have collected seeds from your garden or greenhouse, just pop them in a paper bag, label them and bring them along.

“You can pick whatever seeds have been brought in by others and there is no cost.

“The show is supported by local businesses, some who have contributed prizes for the draw. If you want to win, buy a ticket.”

Entries for the show will be accepted between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday July 2, and also between 9am and 11am on Sunday July 3.

Entrance costs 25 pence person.
